Why Choose Polite Piggy’s this Summer?
Your child will find joy, friendships, and caring team members daily. We prepare an engaging calendar of trips, performances, cultural experiences, and high-quality play.
In addition, we offer unique classes like art, music, sciences, STEMovate, chess, fitness, sports, cooking, Legos, and a hiking club with Aunt Lizzie—small ratios for all campers. Breakfast, snacks, classes, and trips are included.
P.S. We forgot to mention there are weekly water play sessions and plenty of popsicles!
Hours - Flexible Schedule:
- Full Day - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Half Day - 8:00 am - 12:30 pm
- Half Day - 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm
2024 Summer Camp Fees:
- Full Day - $87 per Day | $435 per week
- Half Day: $67 per Day | $335 per week
Non-Refundable Registration Fee: $150 Per Child
Sibling Discount: 15% after the first child (does not apply to the registration fee)
DCPS Employee/ First Responder/ Military Discount: 10%.
Scholarship Rate
Family households earning $60,000 or less are welcome to apply: $280 per child
Scholarship Non-Refundable Registration Fee: $100 Per Child
Refund Policy
No Refunds or Credits: Registrations made on or after June 1, 2023, are not eligible for refunds or credits for any cancellations or missed days.

Children age almost PK3-5th Grade (3 yo by 9/30/2024 ). We are also open to all children, regardless of school affiliation.
Registration is now open. Visit registration portal where you can select the days/weeks your family is looking for care.
Sibling Discount: 15% discount for each child after the first.

Our caring team of professionals who manage our all year camp days, after-school programs, and before-school programs, care for the children in summer too. It supports a seamless transition and allows our students to see familiar faces.
Children who are new to the program, will be met with love and care by our experienced staff. They know how to support children through newness, will help them make friends, and if it’s a rough start , will have ready a toolkit of ideas that includes you, the family.
We will have our Site Administrators available on each shift to ensure good leadership and communication and will bring out the Polite Piggy’s puppet on the playground, of course!
Our team members undergo the DCPS Background Clearance process, and we also provide professional development.
